Cal Ripken 10U Florida State Tournament

The Cal Ripken State Tournament is in its first year in Vero Beach, Florida and will be hosted at Jake Owen Field, which was recently renovated. There is an estimated 15 teams for this event, with each team consisting of approximately 12-15 players. The event will bring in a projected number of 637 room nights for the event. The players and their families will get to enjoy the local beaches and restaurants, which will hopefully attract them to the area for many years to come.

Lawnwood Baseball Complex

For the 6th year in a row, the Prospect Wire World Series will be hosted in Port St. Lucie. The main venue for the tournament is the New York Mets Spring Training Complex (First Data). Games will also be played at Lawnwood Baseball Complex in Fort Pierce. With a minimum of 4 games played, players and their families will stay in hotel rooms for approximately 3-4 nights. There are 27 teams registered and an average of 20 players per team, with two teams that are out of state.
The 15U & 16U will take place at Lawnwood and First Data Field along with the 17U and 18U. Players will be brought in from all over Florida, southeast region, South-Central and even the Dominican Republic. There are 30 teams registered for the tournament and 5 are coming from out of state. There are approximately 19 players per team.

The Treasure Coast is provided with the incredible opportunity of hosting the Babe Ruth Softball World Series for another year. The Babe Ruth League is an international youth baseball and softball league that has grown steadily over the years. This event brings some of softball’s best teams, and their families, to the local area for around a week at a time. The division includes players from ages 8 through 18. This high-profile event will be live streamed as each age group aims for their division’s title. Aside from competing for their title, the athletes are drawn to the area’s pristine beaches, a variety of outdoor family activities, and a friendly local atmosphere. 
Games are scheduled to begin on Wednesday, July 17th for 14U, 16U, and 18U. Games are scheduled to begin on Saturday, July 27th for 8U, 10U, and 12U.
Florida Swimming Senior Championship

July 25 – 28, 2019

The Florida Swimming Senior Championship is hosted at the Indian River State College main campus pool facility. The team meet is put on by Florida Swimming, which is a division under U.S.A Swimming’s national organization. The end-of-season meet is expected to draw around 500 athletes from the state of Florida, between ages 13 to 21. These athletes will be able to enjoy the local area for the weekend, while competing for their age group’s title.
